Courtesy visit by SUMS Grant Student from Vietnam
On Tuesday, November 14, a Vietnamese student from Cho Ray Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City) who earned SUMS grant paid a courtesy visit to our President, Dr. Kohei Shiota. Dr. Hiroshi Matsuura, Professor of Physiology and Prof. Reiko Aiura, director of the International Liaison Office are also invited and they enjoyed a pleasant conversation.
SUMS has built a strong partnership with the Hospital led by the department of Radiology, Surgery and the Nursing division exchanging radiology technicians, medical students and nurses. This is based on the Academic Cooperation Agreements signed in 2006.
The student started her research in the division of Cell Physiology, the department of Physiology this fall.
