Mongolian University paid Courtesy Call
On Tuesday, November 14, Dr. Batmunkh Munkhbat, Vice President of Mongolian National University of Medical Science (MNUMS) and SUMS grant student from this university paid a courtesy call to our President Kohei Shiota. Prof. Tooyama, the director of Molecular Neuroscience Research Center (MNRC) and Prof. Aiura, the director of the International Liaison Office also joined this meeting and had a friendly talk.
SUMS has developed cooperative relations with the MNUMS exchanging medical students and researchers based on the Academic Cooperation Agreements that was signed in 2013. We discussed how to move forward on stronger partnership for the mutual prosperity.
Dr. Munkhbat gave a lecture entitled ’ASSOCIATION BETWEEN HEPATITIS B and D VIRUS SUPERINFECTION AND HLA-DP POLYMORPHISM IN MONGOLIANS’ at the 4th MNRC seminar that afternoon. It led to an active question and answer session with lots of participants.
