Courtesy Visit by Malaysian and Mongolian Students
Tuesday 24th October, three students from Mongolian National University of Medical Science (MNUMS) and National University of Malaysia (UKM) paid a courtesy visit to our President Shiota. Director Yamada, Prof. Miura, Prof. Ogita and Prof. Aiura also joined this meeting and had a friendly talk. SUMS has been building stronger relationships with these two universities exchanging medical students and researchers based on the Academic Cooperation Agreements that was signed with UKM in 2011 and with MNUMS in 2013. The three students earned the scholarship funded by the Japanese government. The two students have started their study at the Division of Public Health, the Department of Social Medicine and the other student belongs to the Molecular Medical Biochemistry Lab, the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
